There are a number of different recommended tools for connecting to your SQL database at PRIMUS. Depending on your preference, the following tools are available and supported by PRIMUS. The best tools available on the market are the ones that come with the SQL Server 6.5 installation CD, but if you don't have access to those, don't worry; the other ones listed here are perfectly acceptable alternatives.

• ISQL/W: The SQL query tool that comes with the SQL Server 6.5 Installation CD
• WinSQL: A SQL Query tool for running queries on your SQL server database.
• EISQL/W: A version of ISQL/w created by the designer of WinSQL to handle BCP / SQL queries.
• Microsoft Access database upsizing Tools for SQL 6.5: This tool allows you to create tables using Microsoft Access and then upload them.
• Microsoft Visual Interdev 6.0 Professional: Part of the Microsoft Development Environment, a full set of database / HTML design tools.
