Downloading Netscape

• If you do not already have one, you should create a temporary or "downloads" directory. Here's how:
  • Bring up your File Manager
  • Click once on the c:\ folder icon
  • Click on File on the menu bar, and select Create Directory
  • Type temp in the field provided
  • Click OK
• Click on either of the links below
• A window will appear asking you where you wish to save the file. Double-click on the c:\ folder icon
• Double-click on the folder icon of the directory that you wish to download Netscape into (if you just created it, it will be the temp directory)
• Click OK

Installing Netscape on Your Computer

After the download is complete, you must still "unpack" the software to be able to use it. Here's how:

• Open the File Manager
• Double-click on the c:\temp folder icon (or whichever other directory you downloaded Netscape into)
• Double-click on the file icon listed on the right-hand side. This will start the installer and walk you through installation
