Eudora Light is the program we supply so you can read your mail.
Configuration is very quick and simple. Basically, you need
only tell it who you are, and where it needs to go to get your
mail.
Configure Eudora Light
Dial in to PRIMUS. Run Eudora Light. Depending upon the version
you are using, you will have to either select the Special
menu, then choose Settings or Configurations;
or select Tools and choose Options.
Under the Getting Started category, replace username with your actual
username. In the Real Name area, enter your real name, or the nickname people will associate with your
user name (most people use their real name).
Under the Personal Information category, again
replace username with your
actual username under Return Address.
Under the Hosts category, replace username with your actual username, and set your mail host
appropriately (see above).
Set SMTP to relay.primushost.com, unless you have a POP only account.
Click on OK.
Reading E-Mail
Check your mail by selecting the File menu, then choosing Check Mail
Eudora will ask for your password, but only this once: type it in.
Eudora will bring your mail over
Unread messages have a bullet next to them: double-click on the message you want to read
To get to the next message, select the Mailbox menu, then choose In, and double-click on the message you want to read.
That's it. Have fun, email your friends, family, and business
associates. If you're emailing people out of state, you may
well find that you're saving the cost of your account in postage.
